Major Daughter: My Life of Grace Unplugged!

0

Epitomising God’s hand on one of Africa’s most resourceful daughters – a minister of God, a coach, a speaker, an author, a TV host, and a philanthropist:

Major Daughter, MD, shares the forgotten unique secret of leadership, which she aligns with the Holy Scriptures. That is the power of being a servant; Jesus said that for anyone to be great, that person must first serve others, must first be your servant. Incidentally, this generation doesn’t want to serve anybody but wants to be great. Major Daughter makes strides in a different direction.

And with each setback, I picked myself up and kept moving forward, fueled by a relentless drive to succeed.

What is your view on collaboration between authors, TV Personalities and Philanthropy as a representative of each role yourself Major Daughter?

It is quite interesting to talk about collaboration between authors, TV personalities, and philanthropy! As a life coach, being a minister of God and media personality with a strong passion for philanthropy, I truly believe this kind of collaboration can make a profound impact on the world.

There’s something truly special about seeing people come together for a common cause, and when authors, TV personalities, and philanthropic organisations work together, they have the power to inspire real change. By sharing their stories and using their platforms to raise awareness about important social issues, these individuals can help to bring attention to causes that might otherwise go unnoticed.

For me, the most exciting part of relationship is the potential for real, tangible impact. Whether it’s through fundraising events, awareness campaigns, or advocacy efforts, these collaborations have the power to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Of course, it’s important to approach these collaborations with authenticity and sensitivity. It’s not enough to simply attach your name to a cause and call it a day.

Instead, it’s important to truly understand the issues at hand and work alongside philanthropic organisations to create a collaborative approach that is respectful and effective.

At the end of the day, I truly believe that this cooperation can be a powerful force for good in the world. It’s an honor to work alongside so many incredible people who are committed to making a difference in the world.

Can you tell us about your work with GraceWorld? What motivated it and what keeps you determined to keep going?

In the media, I have used my platform to speak out on issues that matter to our society, from gender equality to social justice especially in the kind of work that I do at GraceWorld. I have leveraged my voice and influence as TV host and podcaster to advocate for change and to amplify the voices of those who are often marginalized and underrepresented.

It has also been an avenue of supporting my ministry in the message of salvation, healing, and deliverance, and the healing of broken marriages and relationships.

Why do you think Grace is a major principle in your life and how do you believe others can incorporate this principle more?

Faith is a belief or trust in something or someone without needing evidence or proof.

It can give individuals hope and a sense of purpose, which can be helpful in achieving their goals. To incorporate faith into their lives, individuals can start by identifying what they believe in and what gives them a sense of meaning. They can also develop a regular practice of prayer or meditation to connect with their beliefs and build a sense of trust and confidence in themselves.

Grace is often defined as the unmerited favor or love of God. It is an attitude of acceptance and forgiveness that individuals can extend to themselves and others. To incorporate grace into their lives, individuals can start by practicing self-compassion and forgiveness. They can also seek to understand and accept others without judgment or condemnation.

Incorporating faith and grace into one’s life is a personal journey that requires self-reflection and intentional action. It can provide individuals with a sense of purpose, hope, and inner peace, which can be helpful in achieving their goals and living a fulfilling life.

How have you achieved recognition as you have grown and what has been your biggest obstacle?

As I reflect on my journey, I am reminded of the many challenges I have faced along the way. As is the case in many instances, there were moments where I asked myself, ‘Can I continue?’ These were moments when the weight of my struggles felt too heavy to bear.

But something deep inside of me kept pushing forward, a fierce determination to overcome any obstacle that stood in my way. Again, I am not ashamed to say that the Grace of God rose in my support.

I learned early on that success is not simply handed to you; it must be earned through hard work and perseverance also. I put in countless hours of effort and dedication to hone my skills and become the best version of myself by the Grace of God. And with each setback, I picked myself up and kept moving forward, fueled by a relentless drive to succeed.

My journey was not without its share of setbacks and failures. But I learned to go back to God, my Source and my All, to keep from getting discouraged. Each setback taught me valuable lessons that I carried forward with me, becoming a better, stronger, and more resilient person in the process.

Through it all, I held onto the power of Grace – the ability to remain humble and compassionate even in the face of success. And I learned that true grit is not just about being tough, but also about being kind, generous, and empathetic.

Today, I stand as a testament to what is possible with hard work, determination, and a whole lot of heart. My story is not just my own; it is a reminder to others that by the hand of God, they too can achieve their dreams if they are willing to put in the effort and never give up.

Where do you see the most economic world change in the future around the globe and why?

I do not in any way claim to be an Economist or anything similar, but again, Grace imparts insight that keeps one away from ignorance.

Of the global economy, I would say it constantly evolves, and various factors influence its path. However, there are a few trends, according to experts, which can influence the economic landscape in the future.

It is clearer now that the ongoing digital revolution and the rise of technology will continue to have a significant impact on the global economy. The increasing use of automation, artificial intelligence, and the Internet will transform the way we work and do business, leading to the creation of new industries and job opportunities while also disrupting existing ones.

The way the economies of China and India are continuing to grow and the push of their influence may change the balance of economic power we see today.

This shift will likely lead to new opportunities for investment and trade. These realities will not be without more competition and geopolitical tensions because there is always tussle for who is leading knowing that the USA will not be standing aloof.

I think things like technological advancement, climate change, demographic changes, and shifts in global economic power are likely to be shaped by what is coming ahead economically.

What does the idea of being a powerhouse mean to you, and how have you developed this in your life?

To me, the idea of being a powerhouse means having the ability to make a positive impact on the world around me. It means using my platform and resources to effect change and empower others to do the same.

Throughout my life, I have worked hard to develop my skills, knowledge, and resources in order to become a person of influence. Education will always have a prime place; I have also pursued my God-given opportunities – again, Grace – for necessary growth and development, and worked tirelessly to hone my craft, and develop my voice as a TV host.

Through philanthropy, I have invested in causes that are close to my heart, from education and healthcare to social entrepreneurship.

I believe that giving back is an essential part of being a powerhouse, and that we all have a responsibility to use our resources to make the world a better place.

Through the privilege of being an author, I have had the opportunity to share my knowledge, experiences, and insights to a wider audience. It has been a wonderful experience having a collection of books on Amazon.com and outside on others’ shelves. I believe that books have the power to inspire, educate, and transform, and I am honored to be able to use the privilege to make contributions where necessary.

How do you apply the grace of God to being a powerhouse?

As a woman who believes in God and the power of faith in Him, I believe that the grace of God has played a central role in being what I am today.

To me, this virtue of grace represents the unmerited favor and love that He bestows upon us, regardless of our accomplishments or failures. It is a reminder that our worth is not tied to our achievements, but rather to the love and grace of God.

When I approach my work, I do so with a sense of humility and gratitude for the measure of the gifts and fruits of the Spirit that I have been given. I recognize that my success is not solely the result of my own efforts, but is also due to the grace of God and the support of those around me.

It also means approaching my work with a sense of compassion and empathy for others, recognizing that everyone is deserving of love and grace, regardless of their accomplishments or failures.

What is your overarching message for women today, especially underprivileged women looking for a voice?

My message to women, especially underprivileged women who are looking for a voice, is this: you are powerful beyond measure, and you have the ability to achieve anything you set your mind to.

As a society, we often underestimate the strength and resilience of women. We tell ourselves that we are not capable of achieving greatness, that our voices do not matter, and that we are destined to live within the constraints of a patriarchal society.

But this couldn’t be further from the truth. The Holy Scriptures, replete with women who made great successes, proves this.

My message to women is this: you are capable of achieving anything you set your mind to. You have the power to break through any barrier, to shatter any glass ceiling, and to make your voice heard. You are strong, intelligent, and capable of achieving great things.

And to all women, I encourage you to embrace your power and your strength. Know that you deserve love, respect, and equality, and that you have the ability to shape your own destiny. Together, we can create a world where women are truly valued and celebrated for the incredible force that they are.

How does your story say something about what Global Woman Club is all about: empowering women around the globe with a microphone?

We live in a world where women’s voices have been silenced for far too long.

We have been told to be quiet, to be obedient, and to stay in our place. But let me tell you something: our voices are powerful. They can move mountains, break down barriers, and change the world.

So I urge you, my sisters, to pick up that microphone and use it to speak your truth. Whether you are talking to one person or a million, your voice matters. Speak up for yourself and for others, challenge the status quo, and demand what you know to be your right.

But remember, it’s not just about speaking up, it’s also about listening.

We need to hear each other’s stories, to lift each other up, and to create a community of support and understanding. When we stand together, we are unstoppable.
