Ramona Pop has faced hardships during her journey of finding herself. From a young age, she felt deprived of love and started looking for it elsewhere. This resulted in the outcome of her becoming a single mum at the age of 27, compelling her to act as both mother and father to her daughter. She describes her previous life as ‘total hell’, where she was addicted to substances and suffered from emotional and physical abuse.
After a loss in the family, she moved to the UK and this was where her mindset and perspective of life began changing. She took a deep look at herself and discovered spirituality and mentality. As a result of studying Psychology at university, today she performs as a Transformational Mindset Coach, Spiritual Coach and Therapist. Feeling blessed that she was able to overcome hardships, she wants to inspire and empower others to find self-love.
“When the relationship with ourselves comes from a place of love and not from a place of lack, it means that we are aware that we are perfect, whole, and complete.”
What advice would you give to women living in toxic households?
As a Spiritual Psychology Coach, my advice is always an empowering and awakening one to all women who live in toxic households & relationships. They have to remember who they are and reconnect with the source so that they know they’re powerful human beings. As I always say, the only way out is in!
How does being a single mum motivate you? How do you juggle business and motherhood?
My journey as a single mum is so beautiful! I have the chance to be a double parent and not a single parent as I like to call myself always. I believe that everything happens for a reason. I have learned to face and deal with all the situations along the way. All of that has prepared me and upgraded me to be a better person and also a professional coach for so many people now. I strongly believe in myself and in my ability to be able to give my daughter the best education. My business is growing fast and of course, I have to share my precious time between being a mother and a businesswoman. It is not easy but it is not impossible either. Discipline is a very important aspect. My spiritual mind treatment is meditation, which has helped me a lot to stay grounded and to shut the mind chatter.
What were the obstacles you faced when you moved from Romania to the UK and how did you overcome them?
I moved to the UK on the 24th of December 2019, Christmas Eve. I will never forget that day. I will never forget what I promised to myself that evening and I’ve still kept that promise. It was just before the pandemic started but because I believed in myself, I started to use that time to learn more and to help others too. I turned my pain into my gift. I believe that everything happens for a reason and I passed another life test. I have used every single day to connect to the source of all that is.
Why is coaching so important for success?
The benefits of coaching are known to have a positive impact on people and careers. In addition, coaching provides a valuable space for personal development. Having a coach who supports you throughout your career is imperative. Accountability is a must-have.
How can coaching change your mindset?
As a Transformational Mindset Coach, I always get to the root problem. What was that event where we created a new program which is non-beneficial for us? What are the triggers? There is always a cause and effect in someone’s behaviour, life, etc. Changing our mindset is the first step that will lead us to different results. Most people feel stuck and blocked in that low energy, so it’s essential to have a coach who will support you, understand you and lead you. I believe it’s essential to persevere and continue this process of shifting our mindset.
What is the biggest way someone can change their mindset and outlook for the better?
First, you have to be open to change and want that change in your life. I believe that inner work is the key. I advise that being aware and present to your thoughts and actions reveals the exact point where you’re at. Next, we identify the limiting beliefs from our subconscious mind during the mindset changing process and start programming and updating.
How can transforming our life help us succeed in different aspects? Business? Love
Everything starts with ourselves. The relationship with ourselves is the first one we have to work on. When we become aligned, and we can master our minds, everything else will just flow. When we love ourselves more, we will also succeed in our business. When the relationship with ourselves comes from a place of love and not from a place of lack, it means that we are aware that we are perfect, whole, and complete.
Why is our mindset so important?
A strong and positive mindset is essential to developing healthy self-esteem, feelings and attitudes about ourselves. The state of mind can change our perspective on things. The mindset plays a huge role in determining whether our plans will end up being successful or not. To become a winner, you need to have a winner mindset.
What would you tell your younger self today about self-love knowing what you know now?
This is my favourite topic. Self-love! This applies a lot to me! Years ago I was living in codependency, I was substance-addicted, I’ve been in emotional and sexual abuse relationships in my twenty’s, and I was living in total hell. My self-love was missing, therefore I have manifested in my life, relationships, people, and situations that were mirroring the lack of self-love.
Now I took that little girl, my inner child, on a self-love journey! I realised that the primary relationship I have to work on is the relationship with myself. To love me first! This is the life masterclass that I am in now! Because love, love is the answer! Love is the most powerful source in the Universe.
